Priama Diia, the Ukrainian student union, joins the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles.

The Ukrainian student union Priama Diia has decided to join the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles. Since the re-founding of this union (February 2023), our network has provided constant support to this trade union organisation, which is participating in the anti-imperialist resistance against the Russian aggressor and defending the interests of Ukrainian students.

In the student struggles that it organises, Priama Diia has placed the democratic self-organisation of the student community at the heart of its union practices. This union orientation is fully in line with our network's vision of a unionism of struggle that is democratic and independent.

We welcome the arrival of the Priama Diia union in our network, which will contribute to the enrichment of our debates and exchanges.

This expansion of our network is fully in line with the internationalist spirit that drives us, an internationalism alive with struggle and solidarity between the exploited all over the world.
