Davood Razavi, a board member of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, who was arrested by security forces on September 27, 2022, and transferred to Evin Prison, was released today on a five-day leave after 954 days of imprisonment without a single day of leave.

Razavi, 65 years old, has suffered from digestive issues and other physical ailments during his detention. Despite doctors’ emphasis on the necessity of continuing his treatment, he had previously been denied medical leave.

The Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, while welcoming the granting of this leave, calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Davood Razavi, Ebrahim Madadi (a founding member of the Syndicate), as well as other imprisoned workers, teachers, women, and civil activists.

Imprisoned workers must be freed.

In hope of justice in Iran and across the world.
