Solidaires (CM)

The heinous murder of Majsa (Jina Amini), a 22-year-old woman, has caused deep anger and disgust among people across the country.
The Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company strongly condemns this shameless crime and demands prosecution, public trial and punishment of all those responsible for Mahsa Amini's murder.
The “Ershad (Guidance) Patrol” and other repressive forces of the government, who one day persecute girls, women and youth in the streets and detention centers, the next day they throw tear gas at worried families, another day arresting and imprisoning protesting workers, teachers and students and their families; yes, all these repressive forces and their leaders must be held accountable for their crimes and repressive actions.
The freedom of expression and clothing, and the right to education, employment, divorce, and participation in social activities must be the full rights of all people of the country, both men and women, and any other social groups in Iran. The systematic and violent violation of women's rights has led to the widening of the public hatred towards the ruling oppressive forces. The structural, institutionalized and patriarchal discrimination against girls and women in the country must end.
The labour movement and independent workers’ organizations are firm defenders of equality between men and women and oppose the imposition of any forced and compulsory hijab and other injustices and discriminations against women and oppressed people in Iran. As workers, toilers and deprived people who make up the absolute majority of the country's population, we must protest as loudly as possible against this oppression and demand justice for Mahsa (Jina) Amini and all other victims of misogynistic and discriminatory policies, who have been criminally and brutally repressed by various security and intelligence forces of the ruling establishment.
The Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company once again strongly condemns the brutal murder of Mahsa (Jina) Amini and expresses its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to the bereaved family of this loved one and shares their grief and empathize and stands with the overwhelming anger and protests by the people of Saghez and the whole country.

May the dear memory of Mahsa (Jina) Amini be cherished!

Eternal shame on the killers of Mahsa!
