Rally in support of the demands of retired workers from the state-owned telecommunications company CANTV, on Friday 4 September in Plaza Caracas, outside the Ministry of Labour.

This is yet another street demonstration organised by CANTV pensioners and pension recipients. Today, they presented their demands to the Ministry of Labour in Plaza Caracas. The company, run by a military officer, has deducted $50 from the $200 they were receiving as a supplement to their salary. Added to this is the gradual phasing out of their health insurance schemes. The National Conflict Committee was present in a show of solidarity, true to the motto: ‘All struggles, one struggle!’
