Solidarity and support for Simone Vivoli!

On Wednesday, May 13, TIM notified Simone Vivoli, a FLMU-CUB executive and longtime CUB union activist, of his dismissal effective immediately.

The charges leveled by management are baseless and specious; they are entirely consistent with the many narratives artificially constructed ad hoc to repress and target union activists who refuse to bow to injustice and management abuses.

Simone is a historic figure in the struggles at Telecom and TIM, as well as in union mobilizations in the Florence area; through his union commitment, he has always stood by workers without ever holding back: anyone who knows him, as we do, knows full well that he will never be intimidated by these cowardly and shameful attacks, which have only demonstrated TIM’s weakness and earned Simone and the entire FLMU-CUB a medal of honor.

The No Austerity Struggle Front expresses total and unconditional solidarity with Simone and FLMU-CUB and will support without delay all the initiatives of struggle that will be organized.

Withdraw the dismissal and immediately reinstate Simone!
