The international scene is currently experiencing a period of profound instability and escalating conflict. In various regions of the world, people and workers are facing the consequences of wars, military interventions and geopolitical disputes between major powers.

In recent months, we have witnessed new episodes of this offensive. The attack by the United States and Israel against Iran has further heightened tensions in the Middle East and ushered in a new phase of confrontations in the region. At the same time, the genocide against the Palestinian people continues to shock the world, whilst the war in Ukraine drags on, deepening the international crisis.

In Latin America, the sovereignty of peoples also remains under threat, as demonstrated by the pressures and actions against Venezuela. In various regions of Africa and the Middle East, armed conflicts continue to cause destruction, forced displacement and serious human rights violations.

Against this backdrop, the struggle against imperialism once again takes centre stage on the agenda of grassroots organisations and the international trade union movement. It is in this context that the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles, with the support of CSP-Conlutas, calls on activists, campaigners and workers to come together for an important forum for reflection and organisation.

On 22 April, from 9am to 5pm, at the Hotel São Rafael in São Paulo, the “Anti-Imperialist Seminar” will take place, providing an opportunity for debate and coordination to strengthen solidarity among peoples and discuss ways of confronting the ongoing imperialist offensives around the world.

The event will bring together activists and organisations committed to defending the sovereignty of peoples, self-determination and international solidarity amongst the working class.

Join us! Long live international solidarity!
