Out of control, Israel attacks the Palestinian cause in Tunisia and Qatar, in 24 hours
In the early hours of Monday (9), the main vessel of the Global Sumud Flotilla was attacked by a drone in the port of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia.
A rogue state, dangerous to all humanity. There is no other way to define Israel. In recent weeks, it has launched attacks on Gaza, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Qatar, in an unprecedented escalation of violence.
In the early hours of Monday (9), the main vessel of the Global Sumud Flotilla was attacked by a drone in the port of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. There were no injuries, but the crew had to act quickly before the fire spread.
This was the boat used by the Flotilla's organizing committee, which includes Brazilian Thiago Ávila. Magno de Carvalho and Bruno Gilga, members of the CSP-Conlutas initiative, closely followed the actions and sent updates.
"The latest information is that the fire was put out without anyone being injured. This was undoubtedly a 'warning' to try to intimidate us, but they won't succeed; our fight continues," said comrade Magno.
The Global Sumud Flotilla is expected to depart Tunisia for the Gaza Strip on Wednesday (10). The information is that the attacked boat can be deployed without major problems.
Attacks in Doha
Another violation of international law committed by Benjamin Netanyahu's genocidal government occurred Tuesday afternoon in Doha, the capital of Qatar, where Israel bombed a delegation of political leaders from the Palestinian group Hamas.
The Palestinian delegation was in the Qatari city to negotiate the terms of a ceasefire brokered by US authorities. On Monday, Hamas's position was in favor of signing the terms.
US President Donald Trump had also stated that an agreement could be announced soon. However, Israel's agenda becomes clear with each war crime committed: the goal is to eliminate all Palestinians from the region and expand its territory.
"It's unacceptable. The genocidal state of Israel has attacked Tunisia, Syria, Lebanon, and Qatar in the last two days. We must take to the streets worldwide on the 13th and force all governments to sever trade and diplomatic relations with this murderous state," says Fábio Bosco, from the International Sector of CSP-Conlutas.
