While Ukraine faces a bloody invasion by the Russian army, the Brazilian government will receive, this Monday (17), without any embarrassment, authorities of Putin's government in Brasilia.
The CSP-Conlutas from Brazil joins other organisations and in support of the Ukrainian community in Brazil in an act, in Sao Paulo, against the welcoming of the Brazilian government to the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Lavrov, and other representations of the Kremlin. An act in Brasilia, in front of Itamaraty Palace, will also be held.
Check below the manifesto of the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles, repudiating the visit:

Lavrov Out of Brazil! Putin Out of Ukraine!

1. Lavrov is a functionary of the reactionary regime. He has the blood of Syrians, Kurds, Ukrainians, Dagestanis, Georgians and other peoples on his hands.

2. Lavrov represents the interests of Russian corporations such as Gazprom and RosNeft – fossil fuels’ giants and monopolists who found the regime and its atrocities.

3. Every day the people of Ukraine die under Russian rockets and shells and the Ukrainian working class resists the invaders with guns in their hands (there is a popular will of resistance among the Ukrainian masses).

4. At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities, headed by Volodymyr Zelensky, are using the war and the martial law in order to introduce ever new anti-worker and anti-social reforms.

5. The Ukrainian authorities invite international companies to invest in Ukraine and promise them huge profits (this was the case during president Zelensky visit in Warsaw, Poland on 5 April). These are the politics that turn the Ukrainian people into cheap labour, Ukrainian land into commodity and infrastructure into one big special economic zone.

6. Lula meets Lavrov; Duda, Biden and others meet Zelensky; but our solidarity goes to the Ukrainian working class in its struggle against imperialist invaders and neoliberal reforms in the country. Lula sides with Putin when he states that Ukraine is also responsible for the war. We repudiate Lula 's approach as Ukraine is the one being invaded by the Russian armed forces. We demand the Brazilian administration to break diplomatic and economic ties with Russia and to stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian workers’ resistance.

7. We declare full solidarity with Ukrainian trade unions and social movements in their struggle for an independent and just Ukraine. This solidarity has already been expressed in two Workers Aid Convoys to Ukraine organised by the ILNSS in 2022. In 2023, on the anniversary of the Russian imperialist aggression against Ukraine, we also organised meetings with the Ukrainian working class militants across Europe.

Down with all imperialisms and war-mongers!
Long live the working class solidarity!
