5th Meeting of the International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles
We believe that this meeting is an important moment of debate on the international struggle of workers
The 5th Meeting of the International Labour Network for Solidarity and Struggles will take place on September 10 (at evening), 11 and 12 in the Sao Jose dos Campos city (100km from Sao Paulo).
Our last meeting took place in April 2022 in Dijon, France. At that time, it was recommended that the next meeting to be held in Brazil. We want to take advantage of the CSP-Conlutas congress which will be held on September 7-10.
We believe that this meeting is an important moment of debate on the international struggle of workers against capitalism and its effects, the backlash on labour rights, privatizations, layoffs, wars and imperialisms in the world, climate change and many others that affect the future of humanity.
The meeting will also be a space for solidarity and international cooperation between workers from different professional sectors.
We also want to advance in thematic debates that are already a tradition in our Network, such as women's rights-feminism and the fight against oppression; self-management and worker's control; repression and fight against the far-right; Anticolonialism, antiracism and immigrants.
This is a first communication and an invitation to our international meeting. In the coming weeks we will send you more details about the agenda, registration and accommodation.
