Odessa, Kyiv : Solidarity with Priama Diia student unionists

The International Labour Network of Solidarity and Struggles, which brings together 80 unions on 5 continents, has been committed to supporting Ukraine from February 24, 2022, in its resistance to Russian imperialism. Our solidarity with the union movement was reflected in three union convoys that we organized to provide material and moral support.

We have just been informed that on May 18 in Odessa and then on May 20 in Kyiv , student activists from Priama Diia were victims of violent attacks by far-right elements.

These attacks are unacceptable and threaten the democratic freedoms so dearly defended by the Ukrainian people against the Russian aggressor.

They constitute an attack against the entire Ukrainian trade union movement and therefore against the international trade union movement.

Our network and our union organizations express here our active solidarity and our total support for the victims of these attacks and for the Priama Diia student union.
