Yesterday in Warsaw, a meeting was held with Yuri Samoilov, head of the Independent Union of Miners of Ukraine in Kryvyi Rih, coordinator of the Local Confederation of Free Trade Unions.

Current needs were discussed, also the role of international solidarity with the Ukrainian working class and practical ways to support independent trade unions in their fight against the Russian occupation and the neoliberal labor law reforms introduced by the Ukrainian government in the shadow of the war.
The next meeting with Yuri Samoilov will take place in Paris on February 25. As part of his European trip, Samoilov will also visit Lyon, Madrid, Lisbon, Milan, Padua and Katowice.
